An Update to My Journey

So it’s been a while since I’ve updated everyone on my own personal fitness journey so I figured I would take a moment and do that. I will try to make this a regular update, maybe weekly, so that you can know that I am continuing to  be a product of the product and work on myself.

What Workout Am I Doing?

If you don’t know, or we’re not connected on Facebook, I am currently doing a round of P90X2. I just started Phase 3 of P90X2 and after taking a week off and going to Atlantis with the other top Team Beachbody coaches, it feels good to get back into the swing of things! The 3rd phase of P90X2 is really designed to tie all of the other workouts together. There are explosive moves, stabilizing moves and strength moves, all designed for “functional fitness”.

My Goal for the Next 60-90 Days

If you never set a goal you will never be dissappointed, but you’ll also never push yourself to be better! My goal over the next 60-90 days is to add a little weight onto my body while staying pretty lean. If I can add 5-10 lbs that would be fantastic! But believe it or not, for a “hard-gainer” it is tough work adding a few extra pounds without just eating a bunch of junk.

Staying Accountable

One of the toughest things for me personally is staying accountable to my workouts. While I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment after I workout, some days it is extremely tough to go down to our basement and put the DVD in and press play. But the one thing that keeps me going is all of you and the challengers that I have in my challenge groups that continue to push me to get better! It really is an amazing thing!

If you’re not familiar with the challenges that I run, let’s connect on Facebook and then send me a message simply stating that you’re interested in learning more about the Beachbody Challenge. Don’t worry, I won’t be twisting your arm to join my challenge, but if you’re SERIOUS about getting in great shape and throwing away the excuses, then you need to message me asap!

So now you know where I’m at with my own personal journey. If you’d like, feel free to share some info on YOUR personal journey in the comments below. Know someone who would be interested in one of my challenges? Send them back to this site or forward my Facebook information o them so we can connect there!
