Beast Mode Review

If you’re looking for an honest review of the pre-workout supplement Beast Mode then you are in the right place! I recently had the opportunity to try this fairly new pre-workout supplement called Beast Mode. So today, I’d like to give you my review of this product. What I liked. What I didn’t like. Did it work? You’ll find it all out here!

Beast Mode Review – How Does It Taste?

Well the first thing I think we should talk about when it comes to Beast Mode is the taste. Especially since that’s the first thing that you’re going to experience when using this product. Personally, I don’t taste too many pre-workout drinks simply because I “shoot” them back so quick! The flavor of Beast Mode that I used was fruit punch, and I’ve got to say, it was pretty bad. For the first time with a pre-workout, I actually didn’t get it all down in one swig (which could have had to do with the amount of water they want you to mix it with). So by not getting it all down in the first drink, I had the chance to actually taste it and I did not like it. It tasted very “chemically”. (Is that a word?) Well it tasted like a bunch of chemicals. 🙂

Beast Mode Review – Does It Work?

When it comes to effectiveness, in my humble opinion, there are few pre-workout drinks that are more effective than Jack3d. So for me, when I judge effectiveness I compare it to Jack3d. With that said, I had no idea what to expect with Beast Mode, but based on the name, it has a lot to live up to!

About 20 minutes after I drank Beast Mode I could feel it starting to kick in. It gave me a similar feeling to Jack3d as far as the tingling from the Beta-Alanine. After a brief warm-up before my P90X2 PAP Upper workout, Beast Mode had fully kicked in and I was ready to go! I noticed good, sustained energy throughout the workout as well as a good pump with the workout. Unlike with Jack3d, I didn’t notice quite the crash so that was good.

Beast Mode Review – Negative Effects

Some people may see this as a negative when it comes to a pre-workout supplement but I don’t necessarily see it that way. Itching. As with Jack3d, Beast Mode also made me feel very tingly and also made my head itch! It’s not really an uncomfortable itch. For me, it let’s me know it’s “go time” so I kind of like it! But if you don’t like the tingly/ itchy feeling normally associated with Beta-Alanine and Jack3d then you won’t like Beast Mode.

Beast Mode Review – Final Thoughts

All in all, I would say that Beast Mode is a very effective pre-workout supplement for someone looking for a boost in energy and endurance during your workout. I think Beast Mode was great for that pre-workout burst that most people want and was also great when it came to sustained energy. I felt like I was able to really push through the workout and got a great workout in! While I’m not a huge fan of things like Red #40 in my pre-workout supplement, I would definitely recommend Beast Mode to others as an effective pre-workout supplement.
