One of the most common questions that people have is, “How quickly will I see P90X results?” That is a hard question to answer.
P90X Results Will Depend on Your Starting Point
The problem with answering this question with a blanket statement such as, “You’ll get P90X results in 3 months”, “You’ll get P90X results in 3 weeks”, etc. is that everyone’s body is different. Someone who has 100+lbs to lose may see some dramatic results in just 30 days. I have a friend who lost 30lbs in 60 days on the P90X Lean program.
P90X Results Will Depend on Your Nutrition
Another HUGE factor to getting P90X results, and in my opinion the biggest factor with regards to results, is the individual’s nutrition plan. If you follow the program but do not follow the P90X nutrition guide will you get results? Yes. Will it take longer to get the results you’re looking for? Absolutely. One of my family members started P90X a few weeks ago and one of the first things they said to me the next time I saw them was, “I’m not getting results. I’m not losing any weight.” Then I asked them, “How many servings of protein are you eating per day?” They had no idea and had no idea how much they should be eating. Then when I asked them how their nutrition plan was going they looked at me like a “deer in the headlights.”
P90X Results – How Fast?
So to answer the question, “How quickly will I get P90X results?” I say, it depends. Are you committed? Will you commit to doing the workouts 6 days per week? Will you commit to following the nutrition guide? Will you commit to taking the proper supplements needed to make it through P90X and needed to achieve maximum results? If you can answer “yes” to all of the above then I can say the sooner you get started, the sooner you will start to see results.
When I first started P90X, I was in, what most would consider, “good shape.” I started seeing noticeable results in week 4 or 5. I really started noticing my abs a lot more and more size in my arms, chest and back.
For P90X Results It’s Consistency + Time = Success
Just keep in mind that everyone’s body composition and starting points are different. One person seeing results in 3, 4 or 5 weeks does not mean that you will see results that fast. You could. But it all depends on you, your diet, your commitment and your starting point.
