P90X Shoulders and Arms Today
I skipped working out yesterday (P90X Plyometrics). I don’t know what it is but lately I’ve been feeling really whipped. I have to check my nutritional plan to make sure that I am eating enough calories. It really amazes me how I feel so much better when I consume around 3,000 calories in a day. I have energy, I feel alert and ready to take on the world.
Today’s workout was Shoulders and Arms. Biceps are definitely my weak point so I love doing these workouts. With basketball reffing coming up just around the corner it’s all about the “glamour muscles”. I love how the P90X workout routine mixes up traditional moves with non-traditional moves to hit every part of our shoulders and arms.
P90X Shoulders and Arms is one of the longer workouts. It takes right at about an hour and it moves pretty fast. I catch myself having to hit the pause button a lot to write down my P90X results, catch my breath, then go and switch the weights around on my dumbbells. (On a side note, I highly recommend getting the Bowflex Selecttech Dumbbells. I don’t have these yet because they’re a little pricey but when I get a little extra money this is going to be one of my first purchases. These dumbbells allow you to switch very quickly, and we all know how quickly Tony moves between workouts, from heavy to light weight without having 20 different dumbbells lying around.)
Man-o-man is this workout a killer but I absolutely love the feeling that my body gets when I make it all the way through.
