As a mom and self-proclaimed health nut, I’m always looking for good healthy snacks for my family. I have tried lots of ways to sneak fruits, veggies and extra nutrient-dense foods into my meals, many without luck. (Ask my kids how good the black bean brownies were 😉 I love black beans but even I couldn’t eat these brownies!!)
So when I came across this recipe, I was ecstatic because I get to use Shakeology in it!! This awesome shake that is super jammed-packed with wholesome goodness and yumminess should be in ALL my recipes! (believe me, I’m trying to find a way 🙂 I fell in love with Shakeology ~2 years ago when it helped me shed my unwanted pregnancy weight and I know how amazing this product has been for so many of my friends and family’s weight loss transformations. So here’s a recipe for some Shakeology frozen oat bars. They will help you hit that sweet spot without totally ruining your diet!
Shakeology Frozen Oat Bar Recipe:
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
1/4 cup natural peanut, cashew or almond butter
1/2 cup rolled oats, cooked and cooled
Combine all ingredients well, freeze in glass baking pan for about 90 minutes and enjoy!
