I’ve been talking to a lot of people lately about Shakeology. I’ve mostly talked about what I’ve seen it do for me and also what I’ve seen it do for others that I know.
Is Shakeology Strictly a Meal Replacement?
For me, I do not take Shakeology as a “meal replacement.”
I take it because I eat like a 2nd grader and I don’t particularly care for vegetables. So with Shakeology I get my salad and it tastes like a desert.
I have noticed a big difference in the way I feel on the days I don’t take it as opposed to the days that I do. When doing an intense workout like P90X or Insanity, having the proper nutrition is EXTREMELY vital to your success.
The other big benefit that I also have noticed is a decrease in cravings for “sweets” (I have a big sweet tooth). I no longer am grabbing a bowl of ice cream after dinner or a few chocolate chip cookies while watching tv. I don’t know how it does it, but it does it.
But those are the things that I have seen and personally experienced.
What Do the Doctors Say About Shakeology?
Unfortunately, I am not a medical expert, doctor or nutrition expert so I can’t speak to the biological changes that happen when you take it. I can’t speak as an “expert.”
